Ayios Onisiforos Church

Ayios Onisiforos church lies at the south end of the village. It used to be built in the exact location but within the grounds of the cemetery. According to tradition, the location where the church was built was the place where a cave existed. This was the cave where Onisiforos was hallowed. This cave has not being discovered yet.

The Redistribution Department has built a park in the church’s parvis, which looks much more beautiful now.

Part of the saint’s relic is kept in a sealed case in Ayia Marina’s church.

Mass is celebrated twice a year, on July 18 when Saint Onisiforos is celebrated and on Easter Monday.
